What’s been happening in the world of Chinavasion this week?

It is cooling off here in the tropics, another false dawn? Who knows, but as it’s nearly December I would say the cool temperatures are here to stay. More importantly is the Christmas cheer or lack of in China. This week in the Chinavasion office we’ve been kept entertained by the soothing melodies of a hundred Christmas gadgets. It’s not too late to stock up on them before the big day, so take a look at them here.

This week we’ve had aggression in Korea where China has been asked to calm tensions by speaking with its ally North Korea and the Vatican has threatened to excommunicate a Chinese bishop who wasn’t officially ordained.

It doesn’t feel unsafe to be relatively close to the conflict in Korea, but one wonders if this will escalate or not…

 

As we approach Christmas we are finding a lot of interest in Chinavasion gadgets from all over the world!

We saw the handy GPS Receiver USB Adapter for Computers mentioned at gayakuman.com, the redferret journal and techfresh.net. This is a cool gadget because it basically plugs into your pc and turns it into a GPS. What more could you want for just over US$20?

Another product that has the world busting some shapes is the Animation Laser Projector which projects cool, green images anywhere you’d like in time with the beats!

Geekalerts, Olhar digital in Brazil and Ohgizmo! all thought it was cool.

We also saw mentions about the USB Christmas tree gadget in geekalerts and the mini HD media player in foka from the Netherlands.

The blogs never stop and it’s nice to see that online money soldiers picked up on last week’s commission junction affiliates blog.

We were also mentioned in the Independent newspaper who were discussing the rising mobile web usage in developing nations. Of course Chinavasion’s cheap phones are ideal for these countries rather than expensive big name brands.

The Chinavasion blog was also linked to in the London Evening Standard newspaper, so it’s nice to see that they are following!

This Monday we warned online resellers about the integration of Auctive, Vendio and Aliexpress by parent company Alibaba. The message? Be careful as you could be dealing with any of the forty thieves rather than Alibaba himself due to Alibaba’a very lenient policy for selecting who can trade on their site.

Wednesday served as a Christmas wake-up call with only 1 month to go! If you’re a reseller and still haven’t stocked up for Christmas then take a look at Chinavasion’s top 3 Christmas gadgets for 2010 and you’ll be offering surefire hits instead of damp squibs!

“I haven’t received the accessories of the product, did you forget to send them to me?”

Chinavasion would always send all the accessories together with the product, however due to the approach of Christmas, the local Customs check the parcels more strictly than usual. As a result, please do check the security seals we put on each package when you sign for it. We have a couple of pictures to show you what these labels look like:

If the seal is not intact and something is missing when you receive the product, please email us at with the pictures, we will handle it.

 

If I place an order today, can I receive the product in time before Christmas?

Yes, as long as you choose for your order to be delivered by the couriers. The reason is that Christmas rush hour is coming and so cheap air mail now has limited freight space and less flights to hold the parcels. As a result, please choose a courier service such as UPS, DHL or Fedex as your shipping service for the sake of the Christmas gifts for your family!

Please note, for Brazil, Greece and Russia EMS remains the best option as it poses less import issues and risks which could also delay your gifts!
