Chinavasion Bulletin: Android Tablet, LePhone, Android App Of The Week And FAQ’s
What’s been happening in the world of Chinavasion this week?

China has been in the news this week around the world because of its dispute with Japan over a small island between the two countries. In fact, Japan have arrested a Chinese captain who alledgedly rammed two of their gunships, so there has been much grumbling here on the mainland.

Next, to celebrate the launch of the awesome new Lenovo LePhone (coming soon!) we ran a competition to win some cool free gadgets if you could be one of the first 5 to tell us the name and model of the phone. 5 lucky winners have indeed won gadgets, so well done again to Yann, Pascal, Neil, Sandro and Adrian!
Finally on Wednesday we introduced a very different kind of gadget, the army-inspired throat mic. The throat mic is a great option for people who work in noisy environments (as it was originally made to help soldiers communiacte clearly in combat) due to its noise-cancelling properties, or those who sneak around, as it can pick up even a whisper!
Chinavasion also released our first Android tablet, the Techpad, this week…but more on that later!
Adrian’s Pick Of The Week
This week a funny alternative to your business-style bluetooth headset caught my eye, the Old-Fashioned Bluetooth Mini Phone [CVEC-B27]. If you’re sick of looking like a suit, or would just prefer something a little more substantial than those often-fiddly little bluetooth earpieces, then this cool gadget is for you. At just over $10 it’d make a great gift too!

Here Are Some Of The Customer Questions We’ve Been Asked Recently:
“What’s better, courier or airmail?”
It really depends on your needs as a customer. They’re both fine! Airmail is good for small (under 2kg) packages, because it is less policed by customs and is pretty cheap. However airmail is usually slower than courier postage taking from around 7 to 15 days and is less trackable.
Couriers are private postage companies who ship your goods via their own logistics network and vehicles. Their delivery is very fast, usually taking only 3 to 5 days, and very easy to track via the company’s website. However packages sent by courier are noticed more by customs and the postage costs a bit more.
For a whole lot more delivery information take a look at Chinavasion’s delivery knowledgebase.
“Can I print my own invoices?”
We do not normally produce special invoices, because we have found that the banks will usually accept a printout of the Chinavasion checkout summary as an invoice. If the bank emails us (referencing your name and order number) we can also offer a confirmation of the order contents and value.
However, should you need to print invoices after you log in at Chinavasion you can view the records of your past orders and print invoices from the account panel.
The link is here: https://secure.chinavasion.com/login/index.php.
Then select the order for which you need an invoice click on “view” to see the invoices.
You simply simply need to print by using your keyboard pressing ” Ctrl + P”
If you need different invoices .Please contact Chinavasion and request the type of invoice that you require. Please open a support ticket and give us full details of your request as follows:
- Whether the invoice is labelled as sample, proforma, commercial or personal
- Whether any amendment is required to the original totals on the order
- Whether a Chinavasion company stamp is required on the invoice
