Friday FAQs: GPS, Warranty, Focus On New Products And Android App Of The Week
What’s been happening in the world of Chinavasion this week?

The Mid-Autumn Festival is one of the few most important holidays in the Chinese calendar, the others being Chinese New Year and Winter Solstice, and is a legal holiday in several countries. Farmers celebrate the end of the summer harvesting season on this date. Traditionally on this day, Chinese family members and friends will gather to admire the bright mid-autumn harvest moon, and eat moon cakes and pomelos under the moon together.
Anyone who knows Chinese people will know that festivals are always a very important time for the family to gather together for a big feast, and one of the things that has struck me in my four years in China is the bond between family members which seems so much stronger and more important than that in the West.

The stodgy, sweet mooncakes are full of fruit, nuts and other sweet foods and are a rich celebration. Go to your local Chinese supermarket soon and see if you can grab a box!
This week has been busy for blogs as ever, and we started off on Monday with a drop shipping guide for Europe. We understand that people in Europe have been hard hit by the global economic downturn, so drop ship reselling is a great way to make some extra money. Take a look to get some great ideas of how to start your own drop shipping business.
On Wednesday Adrian shared some shocking news with you: Beware! Because Chinese Android phones are invading your homes and countries. If you haven’t heard of Android yet, where have you been? This Android blog will fill all of the gaps in for you, and we bet you’ll be shopping for your very own cheap China Android smart phone very soon!
This week we’ve seen the release of a very cool, portable 2.4G Wireless Mini Keyboard with Touchpad + Laser Pointer. I’ve used this keyboard and for such a small item it’s really good quality, quite substantial in your hand and very versatile. I think it’s especially good for people with smart phones which can occasioanlly be a little difficult to type with (if you have sausage-fingers!).

Here Are Some Of The Customer Questions We’ve Been Asked Recently:
Does Chinavasion provide GPS software?
Chinavasion supplies GPS Hardware only. Customers should source GPS software in their local market, which could be in the form of a purchase or free download. We make it easier for you as our models are compatible with most brands of GPS software, such as TomTom, iGO and Route66, but hardware specific software such as Garmin may not run on these devices. Chinavasion provides no warranty or customer support regarding GPS software. Any software installation you undertake should be performed or supervised by a professional.
Anyone who is reselling or drop shipping Chinavasion’s GPS devices should also be aware that it’s essential to offer this disclaimer to your customers too.
“Do I have a warranty if I buy something from Chinavasion?”
Sure you do! In fact it’s a 12 month warranty. In general, if a product develops a fault during the 365 days since you received it, and the fault is due to a quality issue rather than your own breakage or misuse, we will accept a return. This means you can shop in confidence from Chinavasion as we will support you in the unlikely event that something isn’t right!
