With the continuing credit crunch in the US, it’s no surprise that the net has been fueled with economy drives and belt-tightening exercises:

- The high definition DVD war we thought was over looks like its gaining new legs according Techtree.com with Microsoft XBox bosses refusing to talk to blu ray and even talking of developing their own High Definition Disc format. - It’s not all bad news though. The internet overlords in training, Google, may be looking for a way to provide free Wifi throughout America.
