Friday FAQ image

A lot happened this week at Chinavasion.

We completely ran out of free shwartz launched a brand new biometric locks category in the blog Breaking News Chinavasion Launches Biometric Locks Category.

Some of our staff had too much fun in the video promoting laser gadgets.

So without further ado lets look at some of the more common questions we saw this week.

My shipping address is correct in my PayPal account, can’t you use that?

While it is possible for us to get into your PayPal account it is a difficult process and one that we feel is an invasion of your privacy.

So, to remedy this we have put the shipping address right there in the checkout.

Shipping address location copy

Ensure you have the right address in the shipping address column and we can almost guarantee that it will get to you.

Of course if you made a mistake, we will help please contact us immediately at .

Why do I need to put the RMA number on the return slip?

Putting the RMA number on the return slip is what allows us to identify it as your item when it returns to us. That way we can arrange it so we can refund you or replace or repair the item.

Can I return to the address shown on your website?

We have a number of return centers around Hong Kong and China and, as a result, the address on the website is not always the best place to send items to.

To make it easier for us, and make the repair/replacement process faster for you it is best to return your item to the address on the return slip in the RMA authorization we sent to you.

I didn’t get an answer to the question I emailed to you, will you answer my question?

While we do everything in our power to get answers to your question as fast as we can there are some circumstances where we are just not able to keep up.

However, please rest assured that we will get to you, and if anything, we are doing the necessary tests and research to make sure you get the answers you need.

And by resending your ticket you actually get pushed to the back of the queue so it is not the best thing to do.

CVJY-C42

Carnaval 7 Inch Touchscreen Car DVD Player with GPS and ISDB-T [CVJY-C42]

Ah those Brazilian regulators and their crazy formats. Instead of going with DVB-T like almost every country in the world they have decided to use ISDB-T The freckly redhead of digital television formats. We’ve listened to our Brazilian resellers and searched high and low for a ISDB-T compatable car DVD, the Carnival. Here are FAQ.

You mentioned that this product is compatible with iPods. Which versions will it work with?

We tested iPod compatibility using a 3rd generation iPod Nano 4GB.

Can I stream music from my iPhone to the car speakers?

Please Bluetooth pair your iPhone to the car DVD player after which you will be able to stream music to the car speakers.

Your car DVD players are great, but the user manuals could use some improvement. Any suggestions there?

A lot of work has been put into making this user manual user friendly. The thing is though, this car DVD system is very intuitive so we’re pretty sure you probably won’t even need to read the user manual.

Does this cool in-car total solution support the Greek language?

While the main menu system does not support the Greek language, the ISDB-T system does however support the Greek language. What’s more, if your GPS software comes in Greek then the GPS “Voice” and “Text” will be in Greek. Most popular GPS software titles come in a variety of languages. As for media playback with Greek subtitles, we suggest you download free software from the web to hardsub your Greek subtitles to your AVI files for video playback.

Is the magnetic base of the GPS antenna strong enough to be placed on a moving car?

Yes, the antenna comes with a very powerful magnet. It’ll stay stuck on despite the rockiest ride.

You guys have terrible spelling. It’s Carnival, not Carnaval!

On the contrary, “carnaval” is Portuguese for “carnival”.

What GPS software comes with this car navigation powerhouse? Is it Route 66?

Evalution GPS software is included, but purchasing your own GPS software is encouraged.

Why is it called The Carnaval?

Because driving should be fun and pleasurable. Like a Carnaval! And now it’s possible with this great navigation and entertainment in car solution.
