There are probably a lot of people in the world this week that are happy to see Friday roll around this week. Not in the least travelers, airline chiefs, couriers and international importers.

On Friday, the Icelandic volcano Eyjafjallaj did a a fairly good impression of a smoky chimney throwing up an ashcloud that covered a good part of Europe for five days.

While our very relieved shipping team inform us that the majority of the backlog had cleared by this morning it was a very long week for everybody. I ordered something from you last week, but I know how the volcano in Iceland caused problems with shipping, Will there be any further delays?

For an eruption where so few people were evacuated the Eyjafjallaj eruption sure disrupted a lot of people’s lives.

Airlines lost US$1.7 billion due to the situation and 7m passengers were stranded, delayed or otherwise affected. Cargo was held up for days in numerous situations and a representatives for one of the courier companies went as far as saying that manufacturers who operated a JIT system which depended on parts from Europe or Asia should not bank on getting things made.

Thankfully things look to be clearing now and, barring further issues your packages should be winging to you as I write this.

 

Can you customized my invoice and declare other currencies instead of USD?

Here in Chinavasion, we are experienced in importing worldwide and we have noticed that declaring in US dollar is the most common business practice.

It is the currency du jour with our shipping team because it allows us to process the order faster if we use the same currencies for all our shipping invoice.

In the vast majority of countries declaring in USD makes no difference whatsoever to the assessment of the value / taxability of the goods at Customs.

If you really don’t want us to declare in USD in future , please feel free to send us an email after you placed the order to support email.

Please note that changing the currency on the order’s invoice may delay your order for 2-3 days.

  • How can I add a WiFi network on the Excalibur – 3G Android 3.2 Inch Touchscreen Cellphone?

    To add a Wi-Fi network from the home screen, tap the Application Drawer >Settings. 2. Tap Wi-Fi Settings. 3. In Wi-Fi Networks, tap Add Wi-Fi network. A new window will be displayed. 4. Follow the on-screen instructions and enter the necessary information, then tap Save.

  • How can I configure the Wifi Settings on the Excalibur 3G Android 3.2 Inch Touchscreen Cellphone?

    To configure the Wi-Fi settings: From the home screen, tap Application Drawer >Settings. 2. Tap the Wi-Fi Settings. 3. Tap Menu > Advanced. (Note: If you use static IP, then enter the IP settings as required) 4. In IP settings, Enter the IP address, gateway, netmask, and DNS and tap OK to save.

  • How can I set and image as a wallpaper on the Excalibur 3G Android Cellphone?
    To set an image as a Wallpaper. First, while viewing the image, tap Menu > Set as > Wallpaper. Then drag your finger to select the crop area and tap inside the box to crop the image. 3. Tap Save to set as wallpaper.
  • How do I create a play list for my favourite music on the Excalibur 3G Android Cellphone?

    Creating a Play list is easy, you can add songs to a specific playlist or create a playlist by: 1. Tap Application Drawer > Music. Then the Library screen will be displayed. 2. Tap and hold a song to add. 3. Tap Add to playlist. 4. Select from current playlist or tap “New” to create a new playlist.

  • How do I remove widgets that I no longer want displayed on the home screen?
    To remove widgets from Home screen, tap and hold the widget you want to remove and the widget will enlarge. Then a drag the widget toward the Delete/Bin like icon will appear at the bottom of Home screen.

    sry for putting my post here, but i was wondering: how can i ADD (not move) new icons to chinamobile homescreens? i got a thunder cncn-m60 and i only know how to move them but i would like to add some new.
