Recently, Google raised the curtain from their new Google smartphones, Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL. These phones are the second smartphone by Google. It is promised by Google they will be simpler and smarter. Both the phones look sharp and Google claims they will be among the best camera phones that ever hit the market. Pixel 2 has AMOLED display while the Pixel 2 XL has an OLED display.

The latest smartphones by Google will have the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 chip with 4 GB RAM. The phones will feature 64GB and 128 GB storage choice. It is rumored that the phones will have bigger batteries than before. They have a single rear camera of 12 MP.

No HeadPhone Jack

This year, Google has announced that both the Pixels will not have a headphone jack. Instead, the smartphones will have sans headphone jack. The USB-C to 3.5mm adapter is added to both the models. Google will introduce the users to the world of dongles. Moreover, both of the new phones have dual front stereo speakers. It is believed this is the reason there is no headphone jack.

Google Assistant

In their new phones, the Google assistant can be activated by squeezing the sides. This means both the smartphones will have Active Edge.

It was also announced by Google that both the new phones will get the software update for coming 3 years. This means the Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL will have Android Oreo when it launches. It will get Android P, Q, and R when these software updates will be launched.
