It’s that time of the year again: a new Android OS version is being released.  Android Oreo will soon be available. We all know how Google’s Android Operating system software is named after sweets and candies and now it is time for our favorite cookie to be released. We are talking about the update 8.0 Oreo. This update will change the way our Android smartphones work. It will make our experience of using all our Android phones sweeter and, hopefully, much more efficient.

Why Should You Get Android 8.0 Oreo?

The newest OS version offers better operations. We cannot expect KitKat to give us the same level of performance as Nougat and we cannot expect Nougat to give us the same level of performance as Oreo. Oreo has all these new cool updates such as:

1) It works smoothly without getting stuck as it is 2x faster than the previous OS. They have increased the boot speed which has made the experience of using Oreo smoother.

2) They have minimized the activities of the apps that we don’t use this helps in having a better battery life.

3) You can read emails while listening to some YouTube in the background with this new update in which you get to do two things at once. This multi-display is a life-changer for people like me who get bored easily or who are busy but want to get entertained at the same time.

How To Install Android Oreo

Method 1) Navigate to the settings menu of your smartphone

  • Then click on About Phone
  • After that click on System Updates. If it’s available then you’ll be able to see System Updates.
  • If it’s available then you can opt to download it now or you can schedule later on.

Method 2) First, you’ll have to download a launcher. Google has officially released PIXEL LAUNCHER for Android users. After you download Pixel then set it as your default launcher. The apps would stop working because you have changed your launcher but you don’t have to worry just restart your smartphone. After you restart it your phone will be upgraded and you can just sit back and enjoy your upgraded phone.

Method 3) Install Custom Recovery on your phone. Then go into Custom Recovery and simultaneously press power button + Volume down + home.

You can then download Official Android 8.0 Custom ROM from any reliable source. You should copy it from your phone into an external memory. After doing that you should backup all your files on an external SD Card.

Next, you should clean all the cache present in your smartphone.

Last but not the least you should move Official Android 8.0 Custom ROM from external to internal memory. Then you can click or swipe on it to get installed. It will take a bit of time so you should do it when you’re free. When it is installed then you should just go back and reboot your system. Your smartphone is now ready for the sweet taste of Oreo.

These were the easiest ways that we could find for you. We sincerely hope that you follow our advice and do as we told you too. Do let us know if you found our article helpful in the comments section below.
