On Wednesday we launched a brand new speaker concept, the Speaker Amore in the blog Speaker Amore Puts Great Free Music In Front Of Buyers.

The Speaker Amore is not only a great looking and sounding computer speaker/MP3 unit (Just ask Spanish Gizmodo gizmodo.es/2010/04/08/¿es-un-bolso-¿es-un-estuche-no-es-un-elegante-altavoz-con-mp3.html ) it comes absolutely packed with features to give buyers a value of US$150 for less than US$30.

Speaker Amore
To make this speaker really special though, and to increase the exposure of all the fantastic artists who have been featured in many of the videos we have got on the Chinavasion video channel we included a sampler of the hottest tracks on the speaker.

So, lets take a closer look at some of the artists featured on the Speaker Amore

George Ellinas

Since he could remember, George was in front of samplers and synths making beats and basslines just for the fun of it. He was always fascinated with the power of electronica and it quickly became a passion. At the age of nine he started taking classical piano lessons but this soon developed into a dream to study at Berklee College of Music in Boston USA which was realised in ’95.

Now back in Cyprus he has produced remixes for Peter Gabriel under the name Backstage Superstrz and is taking time to focus on his own music. With names like Paul Oakenfold playing his previous tracks the world expects future dancefloor anthems from this talented producer.

This is clearly shown in the great track Best Friend Remix, featuring the tones of very popular CCMixter vocalist Brad Sucks, which can be heard on the video for our 1080P HD Media Tank.

For more music from George you need to check out his material at these two URLs:

Jason Calhoun and Sander Moolin of Do Kashiteru have been making music together since 2005 and concentrating specifically on electronic music since 2007.

The two have played an enormous variety of music together and separately, but particularly love electronic music, and enjoy making music that is at once accessible and catchy and at the same time layered and complex.

Their music is often compared to that of Kraftwerk, The Postal Service, BT and Aphex Twin, to name a few.

They live and play in the Ithaca area of New York state. They are currently putting together a live schedule for the
summer, and can be heard at jasonandsander.bandcamp.com or ccmixter.org/people/DoKashiteru/profile

Examples of what their music sounds like can be heard on the song Independence Day which was featured on the video for our very powerful King Cobra 7 Inch HD Touch Car DVD Player.

Unreal_DM is a revelation on CCmixter.com, a producer that is constantly able to put out fantastic low fi and traditional tracks with great, light as a feather vocal tracks, that they seem to have a great nose for finding.

That is more than shown in the video for the Thunder – Quadband Dual SIM Wifi Touchscreen Worldphone where the track Sweet Magnolia wove its wonderful magic.

No Flowers, No Cry – Duckett

If you’ve been to CCMixter.org even once you’ve probably heard a Duckett song.

He’s been on the site since 2007 and has traveled right across the musical spectrum spending most of his time putting out great hip-hop tracks, dark ambient dance or even experimental soundscapes and glitchy electronica.

We used his wonderfully sweet reggae- dub track No Flowers No Cry in our video for the GPS Watch and you can check out all of his very extensive range of tracks here: ccmixter.org/people/duckett

The Hipcola

When Rob (better known as The Hip Cola) isn’t busy in the studio for somebody else, he’s busy making great dirty tracks like Bad attraction (Earjammin mix), which was used on our video for the Ultra Power 200mW Green Laser Pointer + LED Torch Light.

Check him out now at:

Travis Morgan, better known as Morgan TJ on CCMixter, is a 31 years old philosopher, poet, musician, phonographer, web designer, artist, and a computer specialist from the United States.

The music he puts out is consistently fresh and interesting and there seems to be a special place in his heart for glitch, as can be seen for the video for our Multi Platform Portable Gaming Entertainment Station (AKA Dingoo A320).

You can hear more of his music at ccmixter.org/people/morgantj and glimpse into his thoughts by reading his blog travisjmorgan.com/blog/

CDK is a highly recognized ‘mash-up’ club DJ in his native Canada.

Hailing from chilly Northern Manitoba, CDK has been producing / mixing tracks for artists from hip-hop to rock to trip-hop and jazz.

His skills are more than evident in the song the beat, which was used in the video for the DVB-T Digital TV Stick.

Listen to more of his tracks here ccmixter.org/people/cdk/uploads or learn more about him here cdkmedia.webs.com.

Tyrael & Minimog

Tyrael and Minimog are two UK musicians that work together from time to time.

Their tracks are always a breath of fresh air as you can tell from the track Masquerade which was used on Metro – Dual SIM Swivel Screen QWERTY Cosmopolitan Phone and Ups And Downs, which was used on the video for the Voyager – Quad Band Touchscreen Dual-SIM WiFi Media Cellphone.

Check out their music now at myspace.com/Minimog24 and myspace.com/TyraelUK or see what Tyrael’s up to in his blog tyraeluk.blogspot.com/ .

As you can see the Speaker Amore comes with some pretty heavy hitting tracks as well as a heavy load of features.

Check it out today or check out all the Chinavasion videos on Youtube to see what other great music is out there.
