Besides Nokia, LG, and Huawei – there will be another leading smartphone manufacturer attending the 2017 Mobile World Congress Barcelona. China’s Lenovo, one of the country’s leading electronics’ producers, is expected to release their latest Android phone – the Lenovo Moto G5 Plus at the MWC 2017.
Find out below what we currently know about this soon to be launched mobile phone.
According to a recent leak, the Moto G5 Plus will go on sale in March 2017, just after the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona has ended. It is expected that this latest Android phone will be featuring a Full-HD 5.2-Inch display that portraits all your media in crisp 1080p resolution. The phone is also expected to be powered by a sophisticated 3000mAh battery, bringing along plenty of juice to get you through the day. It will furthermore feature an Octa-Core 2.0GHz CPU (likely the Snapdragon 625) and hold a 12MP rear camera for all smartphone photography lovers out there.
Although relatively little is certain about the specs this phone will feature, there have been some photo leaks that show us what the Moto G5 will look like. The first leaked photos of the device were originally believed to be the MotoX, however, it has now turned out that these pictures feature the Lenovo Moto G5 instead.
These recently leaked images originate from a Romanian seller that was lucky enough to receive a prototype of the device. Smartphone prototypes often get send out for testing purposes under a non-disclosure agreement. It seems, however, that the latter did not stop this seller from sharing the phone with the rest of the world. The pictures include a shot of both the rear and front of the device.
Besides their latest smartphone, Lenovo may also introduce some new Moto Mods that include the Tango 3D camera mod that was talked about earlier this year. Additional announcements are also expected to be made by the company at the 2017 MWC, more details on these announcements are expected to be revealed once we draw nearer to the event.
