So, place the item on printer bed and fix it in-place with rubber bands, a paper clip or similar.

When carving different objects you should adjust the laser focus with this small wheel. Try to reach minimum focal point on the surface of the item.

Remember you should always wear protective glasses when engraving or adjusting the laser focus.

Before you start carving,  click on the Carving Preview button to see if the object is placed in the right position.

Check the laser point position. It will be at the starting point of the image. You can align it with the Movement buttons on the right by clicking up, down, left or right as needed. Make sure that the picture is in the middle of the engrave areas and get going!

Click on Start button to start the machine. You can pause (Pause button) the engraving any time when want to see the unfinished result.

Check out this video for a closer look.

As I said within a few short minutes you are all set up and ready to go.

Of course, you can use your own image for engraving. You have to convert the image to 512×512 pixels and convert it to a black and white color. A great way to personalize your favorite tools and gadgets by stylishly engraving your name on them.

One Tip!

Please be aware that the smoke from the the engraving can stain the edges of the engraved surface. An easy solution to this is to cover the surface with masking tape and the masking tape will protect the material around the engraving from the smoke. When finished just peal it off.
