What To Expect From Apple’s Unveil Event
Mark your calendars for March 21st – Apple’s upcoming event where the company will unveil a new iPhone and iPad – and, maybe, something more.
The expectations for this event revolve around the idea of Apple going smaller, as opposed to last year: a 4 inch iPhone and a smaller iPad Pro are being the main players. Additional watch bands may also be making an appearance.
So, once again, the event is on March 21st and you probably wouldn’t want to miss it. In the meantime, however, we are still free to indulge in some speculation and guessing as to what to expect.
iPhone Gets Smaller
According to numeroud reports, the new iPhone to be released at the upcoming event with be 4 inch and called iPhone SE, with the design quite reminiscent of the iPhone 5S. But the screen size and looks will be the only things the old and new phones have in common. The 5SE is will be a powerful combination of the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6S – just in a smaller body. The reported specs include the A9 processor, and 8MP rear camera + 1.2MP front camera, Touch ID fingerprint sensor and NFC.
The phone is expected to come in 4 colors: gray, silver, gold, and rose gold.
iPad Pro Gets Smaller Too
The new iPad Pro is expected to size down to 9.7 inches. It will come with 4 speakers, stylus support, a faster CPU, extra RAM and will be available in 128GB storage capacity. It will also have a connector on the side for attaching a keyboard – letting it cross slightly into the laptop category.
Apple Watch Bands
A new Apple Watch may not be coming just yet – but in the meantime you can have fun with a new set of bands. It’s reported that the company has partnered up with more fashion houses to add to its designer band collection (like the one it has with Hermes).
