Some users have also uploaded shows or movies, although the copyright holders of these movies and TV shows do often request their removal.

Those who love British shows will want to check out the BBC iPlayer service, the official streaming service of the British company. It offers a very large amount of programming, including many of the top British TV shows and even live sporting events. It’s available on iOS apps, browsers, gaming consoles, and has a desktop app, too. Content is available in HD, and there’s even some exclusive content that isn’t broadcast on the other BBC stations.

NetFlix is probably the most well-known streaming site. They have many movies and television series available, including some series that are fairly old and difficult to find on home video. The company once only offered DVDs by mail, but now, their streaming-only option has become very popular. NetFlix is available on dozens of different platforms and in many different countries.

ITV Player, originally called ITV Online, is a very simple service to use that offers many live streams from the ITV network.
