Google recently announces that Search Ads on their app store, Google Play, will be rolling out to all app developers and advertisers. This is in a bid to promote the Android apps that are available in the store. Do you have an application that you want to sell out fast? It is common knowledge that there are mobile applications of all sorts available for just about any activity under the sun. If your business wants to reach out to an even larger population then it would be wise to develop a mobile application that will simplify the access of certain services or products to the users.

Google began piloting the app install ads in February, 2015. They appear within the search results in the app store. Now the inventory is available to advertisers and developers who are conducting search app install campaigns in AdWords. This is really big business. The app install ads were valued at a staggering $1.67 billion in 2014 by a research firm. The expectation is that they will grow by another 80% before the end of 2015. The app install ad market in US accounted for about 9% of the total mobile ad spend.

Multiple platforms for app promotion

A few years ago, it would have been ridiculously hard to promote your application. However, now with help from major IT corporations it is more than a possibility. Google has already made it possible for advertisers to post promotion ads in search and display on various platforms including YouTube, AdMob as well as the Google Display Network. In simpler terms, getting word out there that you have an app for certain people to use is so much easier. The thing about apps is that aside from making money selling them, you can also get money from other companies.
