Recover Lost Contacts From Android. Here’s How!
If you have accidentally deleted important contacts from an Android smartphone, there is no need to worry. There are actually several quick and easy ways to get the lost information back that won’t cost you anything and only take a fraction of time.
One way to do that is through Gmail.
If you add contacts to your smartphone using a Google service – and most of us are – that means that the contacts are synced up with the online servers and are stored there for safe keeping. Thus, you can restore any contact that has been deleted in the last 30 days and even chat contacts from 24 hours before.
Here’s how to retrieve your lost contacts via Gmail. Go to Gmail on the web. After you log in, tap on Gmail in the top left corner and see a drop down menu appear. Select Contacts.
You will then see a whole list of contacts attached to your Google account. Find More in the column to the left and you will see the Restore Contacts button. You will be able to choose if you want to go back an hour, day, week or more – for this, choose the point in tine when the needed data was still on your phone. Simply click Restore and you will then see your missed contact back where it belongs.
If Gmail is not an option, there are still ways to get the job done. You could turn to the service of some third party apps that help you reach deeper into the memory of your phone through the use of a PC. Recovery Android is one of these applications – it’s easy-to-use and is compatible with most devices.
