Move Your Clash Of Clans Village To Android From iOS

It used to be the sad truth that quite often, when switching from one operating system to another we had to give up most of our mobile gaming achievements and start from scratch.

Luckily, this is no longer the case – at least for Clash of Clans. You can now have your game account on multiple devices and enjoy a smooth transition between operating systems.

Here’s how to move your Clash of Clans success from iOS to Android.

The first thing you’ll need to do is to get the game onto your Android device. Once you have it, open up the app.

Now, move your iPhone. Start the game and head over to Settings. Under Sound Effects, you will see a menu item titled Link A Device. Select it and go on to choose This is the old device. Go on to follow the prompts that pop up on the screen. You will be asked if the new device you plan to link to uses iOS or another operating system, go with I want to link to another device. You will then receive a 12 digit code to use on your Android device.

Back to Android (with the app already opened), tap on Already have a village? at the top of the screen. Go on to tap the G+ sign-in button. This will sign you into Google Play Games, and if this is the first time you are playing Clash of Clans on an Android device, you will be asked to enter the 12-digit code (the one you received on your iOS device, remember?).

And…you’re done! You now have the same version of Clash of Clans on Android as you had on your iOS device, complete with all your achievements and successes. You can now get back to your village and keep coming back to it from any device.
