Photoshop Fix Is Now On iOS And It’s Free
If you are one of the people who can’t imagine using ALL the features that Adobe Photoshop has to offer and usually stick to the selected few, rejoice! You can now have all those popular picks in one handy app that is also free. Photoshop Fix is available now on iOS platforms and the Android app is said to be coming soon.
What is Photoshop Fix?
Putting it simply (and why do it any other way), Photoshop Fix is a photo editing app that includes the key set of features of the software, while significantly lowering the technical barrier needed to work with it. Basically, you will have all the quick and simple fixes at your service and won’t have to worry about getting in too deep into the editing process.
What Does it Do?
Lots. Despite the fact that the app is the cut version of Photoshop software (and this is something to keep in mind – do not expect to get the full power of Adobe Photoshop with the app), it comes with a very nice set of features, perfect for making quick, yet significant edits to your pictures. Here are a few highlights.
For all the selfie-lovers, Photoshop Fix comes with a great option, simply and aptly called Face. Hidden in the Liquify tool on the app’s panel, Face allows to you to make a number of quick and efficient changes…well, to your face. You will see small circles appear in the areas that can be changed, and by tapping on them, you will be able to widen, lengthen, shrink and more. All in all, a great tool for quick selfie fixes.
As the name suggests, Healing is the feature that lets you fix what’s wrong. Basically, if you’ve taken a beautiful picture, but there is something (or someone) that you feel is spoiling the shot, you can easily cut it (or them) from the picture. The end result may not be entirely perfect, but definitely goof enough for a decent social media post.
Apart from the special features, you will have all the basic tools at your disposal, like Crop, Adjust, Light, Color, Paint, Defocus, and more.
All in all, Photoshop Fix is a great editing tool for your smartphone and a good way to get introduced to Photoshop if you have not used the full version of the software. iOS users can start with it right away, while there is still a bit of a wait for Android users. A short one, fingers crossed.
