GoPro are making the headlines this week with their announcement about the launch of entry-level Wi-Fi GoPro Hero+ for $200 only.

Sure, there are some relatively inexpensive cameras in the GoPro range already. However, the earlier models in this price range did not include Wi-Fi before.

So, the new cam is great news for those who love to instantly share pics and videos or send the footage to their phones. The camera also allows you to make 1080p video at 60 frames per second and you will have 8 megapixels at your disposal. The Hero+ is scheduled for international release on October 4^th and has lots of GoPro fans already looking forward to it.

With that said, the camera will still come with the price tag of $200. If this seems like a heavy bang on your pocket, there are lots of other options available for as little as half the price.
