Back To School Gadgets Guide
It’s that time of year again. It’s time to take out your backpack again, pack it full of books and head to school, college or university . It may be a sad time, as the fun summer months are left behind. However, we hope that a few simple gadgets can make your new study year way more productive and exciting, saving you lots of time and energy.
PC Tablets: Take notes, surf the web, do your homework.
Computers are doing a great job of making studying easier – even more so when you can take one with you. There are lots of affordable tablets available on the market, that can make your school or university life loads easier, and would also be great September 1st gift option. Depending on what you are planning to use the tablet PC for, different models may suit you better.
If you plan to spend a lot of time working with all sorts of media: videos, images, or do a lot of reading – go with a large-screen tablet. A 10 inch Android tablet would give you plenty of space for multimedia, as well as make reading lengthy articles or even books easier on the eyes.
If portability is the key factor and you would like to get something to make quick notes during a lecture or have with you for quick reviews and browsing the web – you could easily go for a less expensive version and take a look at 7-9 inch screen tablets. They would also be a great gift for younger students or those getting their hands on a tablet PC for the first time.
Portable Bluetooth Speaker: relax to cool tunes, listen to lectures, have a party.
A Bluetooth speaker is a great accessory for any occasion. It’s small, versatile and can make a huge difference when you want to relax and listen to some tunes.
A speaker would be perfect for an improve party, as you get together with friends after a long day of studying; or a learning tool as well, if you use it to listen to recorded lectures or TED talks that could enhance your course work.
Once again, there are lots of uses to this simple accessory, and most of Bluetooth speakers are quite reasonably priced.
Take a quick look at waterproof speakers as well, if you are intent on making time for a beach or pool party, or are already looking forward to Spring Break.
Some speakers come with very interesting designs and would make a cool accessory for your dorm desk, that would have all your friends gasping in envy.
Wireless Bluetooth Headphones: get some quality study time, listen to tunes, keep fit.
If your roommates are already stocked up on Bluetooth speakers and are using them to blast music all day long, a set of wireless Bluetooth headphones will come in super handy. You can choose a set that is meant for indoors and comes with a few extras, like a built-in mic, that you can use for online chats with friends.
With all the sitting around you may do during the busy study year, it’s important not to forget about staying fit. A set of wireless headphones can make a jog or a workout at the gym much more entertaining and push you to new fitness limits.
Laser Pens: better presentations, demos and public speeches.
If your coursework often demands you to make a presentation, speech or demo – a laser pen is a handy accessory that would go very well with your fear of public speaking. Just kidding. This simple gadget can actually help you present with more confidence and worry less about the technical side of things. You will be able to point at any detail on the slide without the hassle of moving around and make a better impression on your audience.

We’ve left the most obvious gadget for last, True, we all need cell phones on a daily basis – but even more so when we are miles away from home and need to stay in touch with friends and family. You may also prefer to have a phone that is not overly expensive – who knows what might happen as you are busy studying (wink wink).
Luckily, there are lots of options for you to choose from.
Some phones offer better connectivity thanks to the support of 4G and 2 SIM card slots.
