Does it become a bit of a hassle when you want to use your phone or tablet but your child wants to use it to play games and when you try to take it away you get drama? Well, here is something for the younger generation, this is an awesome 7 inch tablet that has an Android operating system but has been customized for children so they will really enjoy the easy to use lay-out. Don’t worry about them ordering expensive apps or add-ons because this tablet has parental control; therefore you have full command of what they can see and do. Designed to please the younger person’s eye and available in different colors, this tablet by Venstar is filling the void for young people’s electronic entertainment.
I got the prior versions in pink and blue for my kids, and I really love them (so do they too)
They are REALLY great for kids!
but, there is a minor bug within the system and I want to help others to get over it if it happens to them
in some cases, some apps won’t behave like they should: Lego Duplo Apps for example.
they work perfect BUT they use the same IDs in some kind, so the starter will display all as one icon – that’s not only anoying it can make the starter to crash at startup!
if this happens, you can reset the device with starting it holding the lesser sound volume key. then you can wipe the tablet again to factory settings…
Also some another tips to go:
* deactivate mail sync in gmail
* activate the right timezone (yes, it is possible, but it is complicated to explain…)
* install some app-installer (like AppMonster) for faster app installation after a wipe
* deactivate WLAN per default – it will help to keep the device longer alive…
Yeah, in red!
