NASA Wants To Use Drones On Mars
NASA is working on a helicopter drone that can explore Mars. By observing the Red Planet, the aerial aerospace company believe it could come to interesting new insights.
The drone is still being developed by NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL), which deals with making unmanned robots. The drone will be about a kilogram and 1.1 meters wide. JPL compares the appearance of the drone looks like medium sized cube-shaped tissue box. That’s pretty vague.., let’s hope images will come out soon.
Currently there are only moving vehicles on Mars called ‘Rovers’. But the sight of these moving vehicles are limited. The drones can be applied to help the rovers explore the area around it, and decide on a better route to continue the investigation. Thus, more efficient routes can be mapped faster.
