How To Enable Call Waiting Feature On Your Phone
Call Waiting feature is a useful one to have, especially of you get lots of calls for work and would not like to miss any.
What it does – is send you sound notifications when you are talking on the phone if there is another incoming call. So with the feature enabled you will not have to impatiently wait for those important calls, forced to screen others. You can pick up, talk to your heart’s content and should another call be coming to your phone, you will be notified immediately with a discreet yet meaningful beep.
So if all of the above has merged into one good reason to enable the Call Waiting feature on your phone, here are two simple ways to do that:
Option One: Through Phone Setting
- Go to the Dialer on your Home Screen
- Tap the Options button
- Go to Call Settings>Additional Settings
- Tick the Call Waiting option
There you go – it’s enabled!
As we have mentioned earlier, the feature is quite a useful one, as it allows you to keep track of all the incoming calls and be in charge of all of your notifications.
However, at some point you may get tired, go on vacation or simply feel that the time is right to disable the feature. For that – go through the came process and un-tick Call Waiting.
Option Two: Download An App
There is one more option here. If for some reason you think you might have the need to switch the option on and off frequently – you can download Call Waiting Enabler app from Google Play Store. Upon downloading the app, you will be able to activate the Call Waiting option with a few simple dial sequences:
Dial *43# to turn the option on
Dial #43# to turn the option off
Dial *#43# to inquire about the current status
Whichever option you go with, having Call Waiting feature enabled comes with a mighty pack of benefits – and you will never have an excuse to miss a call from your mother again!
