How To Get Phone Notifications On Your Desktop
Our lives revolve around notifications: missed calls, text messages, that item on the “to-do” list that you should finish by 5, social media updates, work emails and more. We want to stay current and can’t stand the thought of missing out on important (and not so much) news – this is why we always keep our phones handy and religiously respond to every beep. However, there are times when checking your phone may be difficult: if you are at the office, in a meeting, working on a project or studying – glancing at your phone may not only be distracting but also give off the wrong impression to your colleagues or boss.
Wouldn’t it be nice to give your phone some rest and yet still stay on track with your notifications?
One way to do it is to synchronize your phone with your PC and start getting all the notifications on your computer. Luckily, there is a handy app for that – Mighty Text App. The application syncs your computer with your phone and you can start responding to text messages, upload pictures and access your call log. As with most apps, the process is easy and straightforward. Here’s how you do it:
- Head over to Google Play Store, find Mighty Text App and download it.
- Once the installation process is complete, pay a visit to the application’s website to download Text Extension for your desktop browser.
Note: Mighty Text App is made to work smoothly with Chrome browser and the installation of the extension will be easy. If you are currently using other browsers (Safari, Mozilla Fox or Explorer), make sure to follow Mighty App’s Guide for the installation process.
- After the app is installed on your phone, you can sync pictures and videos, reply to your text messages, get access to the contact list and more.
By downloading Mighty Text app, you will basically have your phone on your PC, which is an especially convenient option for the office or any other time when your phone is out of reach or the situation might call for a more discreet approach.
