Nokia HERE availabe on Google Play Store

One of Nokia’s strengths, before the major part of the company got acquired by Microsoft, was the fact that its devices came with a solid maps and navigation app called Here.

Now, on Wednesday, Nokia launched Here for Android devices on Google Play. The price? Free.

The Nokia Here is a bit different than Google Maps. It focuses on GPS navigation with turn by turn voice instructions. And a pretty nice feature is that the maps can be downloaded, then run the navigation oflline without active internet connection.
