Video: Google’s Working Project Ara Prototype

Project Ara is Google’s idea to create smartphones whose individual components, like the processor, display resolution or a lot more will finally be swapped out so users is able to customize and build their own smartphones based on a modular platform.

In the video below, engineers at NK Labs are shown working on the design of Ara before finally piecing the prototype together and flicking the on switch.
