An App To See If Your Xiaomi Phone Is Fake
Big brand companies such as Apple, HTC and Samsung are now not the only ones that has to deal with copies/imitation/pirated and shanzhai versions of their phones. Big Chinese company Xiaomi have now become a target by Chinese so to ensure users that they have the real version, they are offering an app for them to use to tell if their phone is the real deal or a fake one created by Wang’s Enterprises.
Xiaomi’s deep pocketed boss Lei Jun who is the company’s CEO is slightly worried now that these companies are now copies of his pride and joys. These imposter Xiaomi phones have been appearing for the last couple of years on the market and have proven to be worthless. As Xiaomi is a difficult to purchase phone, they are not that common in shops so tricking someone into believeing they have the real deal is pretty easy, even the MIUI is available for all so they can easily install on the fake version.
To fight this burden, Xiaomi have recently released an app known as the ‘identification app’ that can tell if the Xiaomi that you have got is fake or real. Just simply select on the interface of the app to tell if you are putting money into Lei Jun’s pocket or into someone random bloke with a factory in Dongguan’s pocket.
