Google Reveals Elite Hacker Team
Google unveiled Tuesday that it had created an elite hacker team known as “Project Zero” to help protect world’s popular software from those state-sponsored agencies or hackers.
In Google online security blog, the team leader Chris Evans, a Google security engineer said that the team’s main mission was to track down the hackable bugs in widely used software made by Google or others and report them to the makers.
“You should be able to use the Web without fear that a criminal or state-sponsored actor is exploiting software bugs to infect your computer, steal secrets or monitor your communications” says Evans in the blog.
So far, the team has hired several security researchers and are still looking for more to join in.
