Doogee DG550 Dagger Smartphone Launched, In Stock & Ready to Ship
Doogee fans have been waiting long the smartphone maker’s first high end Octa Core device. As the announced have been long before it’s final launch, many bloggers have been discussing this phone. At the same time you have probably seen many China sellers pretending to have this phone in stock and selling it to you before it can be shipped. We aren’t that type of company. We are happy to announce that the DG550 Dagger phone is now IN STOCK and it can be dispatched to you WITHIN 1 DAY.
What other’s say about the Doogee DG550
From the press renders and images we have been shown, the Dagger DG550 looks like a larger version of the very popular iNew V3. The body is slim and stylish while the 5.5-inch panel gives your eyes more to look at. Under the hood is a 1.7Ghz Mediatek MT6592 processor, the same SoC as found in the majority of octacore Chinese phones, 1GB RAM, 16GB internal memory, and dual sim supper for GSM and WCDMA (850/2100mhz networks).
Design wise it’s a beautiful looking phone. Even if the style was borrowed from the iNew V3, Doogee can’t be faulted here. If anything it’s a smart move. It’s very curious there’s nothing about OTG in the official specs and we will just have to wait and see whether this was an oversight or if they’ve truly made a blunder by it’s lack of inclusion. If the HDMI is included and works right, it will be a very positive move for this phone towards success. Given the current presale price of the DG550 at around $170, the specs of the Dagger are excellent. You can’t ask for more at this price point. Assuming the ROM is relatively bug free, the phone includes OTG and the battery life is satisfactory, the Doogee DG550 will be a huge winner and should be at the top of anyone’s shortlist.
