Google officially confirmed the redesign of the Google Play Store app today, as stated on Google’s official blog, the update starts rolling out today for “Android phones and tablets running Android 2.2 (Froyo) and above. People around the world should see it over the next few weeks. Get ready for a simpler Google Play.” This therefore confirms all the leaks over the week, I’ll be taking this out of the “Pandora Box,” as we wait to confirm the Google Chat rumor. The new Google Play Store app is focused on bigger images off the page, similar contents are grouped together, new recommendations “continue to appear so there is always more to see and explore,” and new simplified checkout method for purchasing your contents.
