This is a great tip for all the people how would like to use Android OS on their PCs.

Meaning, if you do not own an Android phone, or that your phone has not been upgraded to Android 4.1 Jelly Bean or you are just plain curious how Android 4.1 Jelly Bean running on a desktop or Laptop will look like, here is your chance to find out just now.

Firstly you will need to download Virtual Box here.

We have an OVA file, so that everyone can play with it, with no effort. You just have to download the OVA image, ready for you to download, import into VirtualBox and use:

OVA Download link :-

Built for a “phone”, 480×800 default resolution

Built for a “tablet”, 1024×600 default resolution

Built for a “tablet” with phone capabilities, 1024×600 default resolution

The system itself works very well. You can use Internet, audio, video playing, and all Google apps on your virtual Jelly Bean Android machine. This setup has Google Play installed, so you can even install Market apps directly into your virtual Android machine. The pre-configured VM above makes it all an easy process. So just enjoy running Jelly Bean on your PC!

A good idea for testing and for fun. But until Android apps are more user friendly and are built for the device they are on then this isn’t going to have a chance against the rotten fruit that is Apple. I do not like Apple products at all. so give me android every time.

Is it possible to install apps from hard drives and flash disk? My laptop is AMD based with embedded GPU, can I run it well? And I heard about ARM translator what does it for?

I’m sorry asking too much question since I’m a newbie. Thanks in advance.
