Huawei Mate : Super-Sized Phones Are the Next Big Thing

On the 2013 CES show and the world’s mobile communications Assembly, 5.0 inch smartphones became the major big screen models introduced by many mobile phone manufacturers. According to Barclays Bank special research, by 2013 the production of 5.0 inch large screen phones will reach 143 million and in 2015 the production will increase to 228 million.

In 2013, large screen phones will become an unstoppable trend dominating the smartphone market. Currently the top three smartphone giants, Samsung, Apple and Huawei have their own strategies of manufacturing the large screen phones.

Huawei primarily occupied the super size phone market by timely releasing a large screen model, namely Mate and using it to compete with the Samsung Note 2.

As a cross-border model between the tablet and the phone, the Huawei Mate will come with a 6.1 inch screen, which is almost the ultimate size for one hand control. However, since the release of this year’s CES show, the following news regarding the release date and the price have never been announced yet.

In early March, according to the Weibo (Chinese version of twitter) of Huawei’s executives Yu Chengdong and Xu Xin Quan, the Huawei Mate is expected to be listed in March.
