See below which apps were the most crowd-pleasing among broader audience. Read on for the 10 most popular Android apps among your peers from last week.

1. Bosch Toolbox

Last week’s most popular app was Bosch Toolbox, which comes as something of a surprise. This app features a collection of handyman tools including a site measuring camera, unit converter, pro flashlight, supplier locator, and quick support for Bosch products.

2. EasyFocus

Next up we have EasyFocus, which allows you to produce SLR camera like focus and defocus effect with your photos. It’s similar to the tilt shift feature of Instagram, but it allows a lot more control. The early reviews are mixed, so be sure to leave your feedback on the Play Store where the developer can see it.

3. Keymonk Keyboard

Like the description says, “A video is worth 10,000 words so check it out to see how Keymonk works.” This new keyboard works like Swype, but it allows you to draw words using both fingers at the same time. The developer claims it’s the fastest keyboard around, but it might take some practice to match their results.

4. Widgetsoid

Looking for fully customizable widgets with over 50 toggles to control? Widgetsoid is a free app that lets you customize the look and feel of system widgets to control almost any function of your phone. It already has over 1 million installs and a healthy average review score of 4.5.

5. Photo Punch

Photo Punch is a new free app that allows you to “punch” out an area of a photo, add a background, embellish it with effects, and share it to the community. This could be a great tool to create memes, so check it out if you love to edit photos.

6. VLC for Android beta

The VLC media player is coming to Android, and it’s already available if you want to beta test it. Unfortunately, it is limited to certain devices and countries, so chances are you might not be able to install it quite yet. This  is still something to keep your eye on if you enjoy the desktop version.

7. News Fragments

News Fragments is a simple news reader app that ties into Google News feeds. It allows you to sort your news feeds into separate fragments and presents everything in a clean looking Holo theme.

8. Justice League: EFD

Justice League was the most popular game last week since it features heroes from DC Comics, but the app appears to be a bug filled mess. It currently has an average review score of 2.1, with most users saying the game doesn’t even work. Hopefully an update comes out soon that addresses all the issues.

9. Crackle

Crackle lets you watch full length movies on your Android device for free, so what’s not to love? A recent update added the ability to play back movies over HDMI, so now you can share streaming content with the big screen. The app was also given a new design, so check it out if you haven’t used it in awhile.

10. Death Dome

Death Dome is an awesome looking game, and it should have been a lot higher on this list. The game was published by Glu Mobile who has a strong track record on Android, and it delivers the same high quality that we expect. Check out this game if you enjoyed Glu’s Blood & Glory gladiator series.
