Merry Christmas to you all and warmest wishes from the Chinavasion team.
China is not a traditional Christian country, but under the vast influence of the west, Chinese now starts to celebrate Christmas and a few other popular western holidays. Christmas is not an officially recognized public holiday in China yet, but more and more companies (companies like Chinavasion) decide to take a day off to let its employees enjoy Christmas. Most shopping malls in China have put up Christmas trees and decorations as early as November, and come with it are increasing number of Christmas sales and Christmas themed party and concerts. However, the main Christmas theme and family get together are left for Chinese New Year, which is normally around a month and half away from Christmas.
Because Christmas is not a public holiday in China, all businesses will carry on as usual. However things are different in Hong Kong, where British colonization has led them to follow all major western public holidays such as Christmas and Easter break. Many offices are shut down during Christmas period. As result, our Air Mail services (via Hong Kong) will not be able to send out any order from 25th of December until 27th (from Saturday until Tuesday). But service should return back to normal on the 28th. All orders placed from the 23rd of December (this Friday) until 28th December (Tuesday) will be sent out on the 28th. Our other express services such as DHL and UPS will not be affected. We appreciate your understanding of this logistic disruption.
THANK YOU FOR YOUR GOOD STUFFS.
