A lot has happened at Chinavasion this week.

However, there were more questions than usual so lets take a look at some of the more common questions we saw this week.

You have told me that you will credit my account, how long before I see credit

We try to get credit showing in your account as soon as we can.

Right now we can usually process your credit so that you should be able to see it in your account within one working day, however we are always trying to make the process faster.

Can you declare as a sample or as a gift?

Dealing as an international wholesaler we have sent more than a few packages to more than a few countries.

Something we’ve seen happen quite frequently is people sending us an email or adding a note to their order to ask us to mark a package as either ‘gift’ or ’sample’.

Unfortunately we are not able to offer that service because in the vast majority of countries worldwide, declaring goods as a “gift” or “sample” makes no difference whatsoever to the assessment of the value / taxability of the goods at Customs.

Customs officials usually pay more attention to the declared value indicated on the shipping invoice and not the reason the item has been sent…. cold-hearted people that they are.

Can you put my details onto the sender details so it looks like the shipment came from me?

Unfortunately postal rules make it impossible for us to falsify the postal address as the shipping agent needs an address to send items back to.

However, to make sure that your customers remain loyal to you we send everything from a Chinese address, which will prevent them from finding out that you sourced the item from us and usually use one of the first names of our shipping team in the from box.

If your customers ask you about this you are more than welcome to tell them that the item was sent by your Chinese business partner (which in actual fact we are) or it was sent from your Chinese warehouse.

What type of accessories can I buy from you?

We can get you the following accessories:

• Stylusses
• Bulbs (for projector)
• SD cards
• TF cards

To make an order all you need to do is to email us or, if you would like the extra accessories sent with another order, make a note in the comment box and put a little extra money towards the transaction to cover the extra expense.

Can I use different DVR software with the CVMK-K48?

You can use any software you desire. It comes with an evaluation version of ArcSoft Total Media 3.5. Note: We do not guarantee compatibility with all DVR software packages.

Will this work in my country?

The K48 USB dongle is designed to process ATSC MPEG-2 and H.264/MPEG-4 AVC encoded signals found in the following regions: Americas (United States, Mexico, Canada, Nicaragua, Puerto Rico, Costa Rica, Guatemala, Bahamas, Bermuda, Honduras, U.S. Virgin Islands, El Salvador,) and Asia/Pacific (North Korea, Philippines, South Korea) as well as United States territories (American Samoa, Guam, Northern Mariana Islands).
