Friday FAQ’s, Dropshipper Hints And Shipping Times

Things have been busy at Chinavasion.

Not only did we take a look at our exciting mini projector range and explain how other LED flashlight makers were keeping customers in the dark But our catalog team had a big week too.

Dan from Redferret did a fairly comprehensive review of our spy tie and thought it was a pretty good spy gadget, he even shot some footage which you can see below:

Just as we stated before the screen is huge, the emulation possibilities are wide and it comes with two controllers and an AV out so you can turn it into a TV console for nostalgia gaming nights… Stay tuned for a video!

But without further ado lets look at some of the more common questions we saw this week.

I’m a dropshipper and you sent a customer a device with a faulty accessory, can you send another one directly to them?

While it’s not the most politically correct of answers no we can’t but we can send an extra to you with your next order.

International shipping is both ridiculously expensive and not as fast as domestic shipping. This means that it is both time-consuming and expensive for all parties involved for us to send a small accessory to a customer after the original shipment is made.

So what can you do? You can keep plenty of cheap spare accessories on hand, send the item to your customer, then get the item sent to you when you make your next, larger order (say you’re purchasing a new item to learn more about it)

This might sound counter intuitive in a dropship system but it actually makes good working sense. You might be comfortable waiting the one week it takes for your supplier to get the accessories from their warehouse to your customer your customer is not going to be as forgiving.

Especially if you can send them the item in two days, or maybe even faster.

It is possible to turn a negative into a positive and suggest that they purchase another item and you will send it out with that order.

I’m on business in the USA for 2 more days after I will be back in my country Ghana, can you ship the order now so that I can show the product to my customers in the US?

One achievement we are very proud of is our processing time.

In February we set new processing records by sending 88% of our orders in one working day or less.

However, processing is not the same as shipping times and delivery with courier usually take 3 -5 days if there are no unexpected delays.

If you are visiting one particular area for anything less than a month then we will have to ship to your final destination or cancel the order.

We cannot the risk you not getting the package in time.

You’ve always got the latest gadgets. What products should I watch out for in the near future?

How would you like a cell phone that is 3G, comes with an Android OS, has a high definition touchscreen and is thinner than a HTC Desire?

Resonance Speaker and iPod/iPhone Docking Station [CVRU-E100]How would you like to charge your iPhone or iPod while playing music, through your desk

The resonance speaker will let you do that.

• The Resonance Speaker noise is a bit low… is this normal?
  
  Adjust the volume using the volume control on the side. If it’s still low, make sure the unit is properly situated on a flat and hard material, otherwise the vibrations will not reach the surface.
• Does this Resonance Speaker come with an internal battery?
  
  No. Due to the powerful audio output, which cannot be delivered by rechargeable batteries, it is only usable with an AC adapter.
• If I place the Pandora Resonance Speaker in a bin like basket, will that amplify the sound?Yes, just make sure to have a few sound absorbent material, perhaps even a piece from an egg carton, this way you won’t get the echo effect
• How does the surface material affect the sound effects?
  In general, higher density and harder materials make the speaker more sensitive to higher tones, while lower density and softer materials make it has better low tone performances
