Great pictures help to sell your products and that’s why eBay has updated it’s picture regulations. According to eBay, pictures often make the sale, especially for shoppers on mobile devices and that’s why  beginning July 1, 2013 your pictures will have to comply with the following rules:

  • All photos must be at least 500 pixels on the longest side of the picture.
  • Photos cannot have borders.
  • Photos cannot have seller-added text or seller-added artwork.
  • When you list a used item outside of books, movies, music, and video games, you cannot use the eBay catalog stock photo in the primary photo position. You must upload your own photo.

If you have listings with pictures that violate these requirements, update them now so they won’t be blocked from relisting or removed. Learn more about eBay’s picture quality requirements and get great tips for photos that help your items sell.
