Following the “four times delivery per day” service, Jingdong, the competitor of china Tmall, will launch the “speed up” project, which means Jingdong is to release 3 hours of delivery of goods when orders received.

However, the service is not completely free; it is required to pay an additional RMB 49 for the urgent purpose.

Specifically, when paid orders received within 8:00-20:00, plus this kind of service is selected, goods will be delivered in 3 hours, while orders submitted with 20:00 to 8:00 of the next day, will be sent out before 11:00am on the second day.

Simultaneously, in addition to the “speed up” project, Jingdong plans to launch an evening delivery service in Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Wuhan, Chengdu and Shenyang. And also it extends the cut-off time till 15:00, so users are able to receive their parcels on the same day as long as orders paid before 15:00.
